Classical music for kids
A site about classical music for children, written by Mary Jane Howie. Nothing is published here yet.
What this site is for
Classical music, for young listeners
This site is about classical music for kids.
Nothing is published here yet, so there is nothing to read or listen to for now.
What is coming
Pieces, instruments, and the people who wrote them
Much classical music is old enough that the score has passed into the public domain, so a family can often find the sheet music for a famous piece without paying for it. That is the sort of thing this site will point to.
Questions are welcome
If you have a child who is curious about classical music, send a note and say what you would want first: pieces to listen to together, or plain explanations of the instruments.
